2 jailed in Branson home invasion robbery

BRANSON MO NEWS: Buy PhotoCrime illustration(Photo: News-Leader file photo)Buy PhotoTwo men are being held in the Taney County Jail after being taken into custody Sunday morning by Branson police investigating a home invasion robbery.Branson police responded Saturday evening to a report of a home invasion in the Cantwell subdivision near Missouri 76 and U.S. 65, according to a news release from the city of Branson.A husband and wife said two men had forced entry into their home, robbing them of personal possessions, including jewelry, the release said; the men then ran from the home, leaving the couple scared but unharmed. The two suspects were taken into custody Sunday morning and the stolen property was recovered, the release said. The suspects are being held pending the filing of charges by the Taney County Prosecutor’s Office.
