Branson Police Arrests Three, Recover Stolen Vehicles

BRANSON, Mo. — Three people are under arrest in Branson, Missouri as a result of an investigation into stolen property and vehicles.Simon D. Albrecht, 37, of Harriet, Arkansas, Joseph Nelson, 26, of Oldfield, Missouri and Eric Dean Leonard, 53, of Branson were all taken into custody.The situation began on Monday as Branson Police responded to a call on Cahill Road that when a vehicle and some items had been stolen.A search of the area resulted in the vehicle being located an hour later in the Parking Lot of the Wal-Mart Supercenter where Albrecht and Nelson were apprehended.Further investigation led to recovery of a second vehicle on Parnell Drive which had been stolen in Taney County along with some Firefighting Gear in the vehicle. The gear as a controlled substance was found at that location leading to Leonard’s arrest.The Patrol Division along with the General and Vice Investigation Units of the Branson Police Department handled the investigation.All three people involved are facing multiple charges in Taney County.
