Branson tops list for best Missouri attraction

BRANSON NEWS: BRANSON, Mo. — USA Today ranksBranson as the number one vacation spot in Missouri.
With license plates from all around the country including Arizona, Texas and Minnesota this weekend, it seems Branson is continuing to grow in popularity. Travelers say Branson is a great destination because of all the family friendly events. Local businesses say that holiday weekends help prove Branson is the place to be in Missouri.
“The holiday weekend for us was great I think it showed that people really are interested and that we are the number one attraction in Missouri,” said Travis Howard of Grand Country Fun Spot.
Branson beat out other major destination like the St. Louis Zoo and Kansas City’s Power and Light District.
