Branson Woman Charged with DWI, Injured in Crash

MERRIAM WOODS, Mo. – A woman from Branson is arrested for Driving While Intoxicated among other charges Monday night, after crashing her vehicle east of Merriam Woods in Taney County.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 34-year-old Heather Deshazer was traveling westbound on Highway 160 at 7:35 p.m., when she ran her vehicle off of the roadway and struck a rock embankment.
Deshazer is charged with DWI, Failure to Drive on the Right Half of Roadway and Driving While Suspended. She was released with a court date and transported by ambulance to Cox Medical Center Branson to be treated for her moderate injuries.
