Branson Woman Receives 7 Years for Child Endangerment

FORSYTH, Mo. – A woman from Branson is sentenced to seven years in prison for felony endangering the welfare of a child, which is the maximum sentence under Missouri law.
Judge Laura Johnson sentenced 31-year-old Tiffany Nelson on Monday following her guilty plea without an agreement with prosecutors in January.
The charge stemmed from a medical call for a 16-month-old child at an apartment on Cannonball Loop in Branson on July 31st, 2015. Doctors determined the child suffered multiple serious, non-accidental injuries to his head and face.
