BRANSON MO NEWS: Funeral services for Bruce Allen Koch, 85, of Branson, were held Sept. 18, 2017, at Faith Lutheran Church in Branson with Pastor Joel Kruger officiating. Burial was at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson, with full military honors. Services were conducted by Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory Branson, Missouri.

Bruce died Sept. 14, 2017.

He was born March 19, 1932, south of Emma, Mo., son of Irvin John Koch and Ellen Frerking Koch. He went to school at St. Paul Lutheran Grade School and Holy Cross Lutheran School. He enlisted in the US Air Force in March 1952 for a four-year term. He returned home to work as a carpenter and  got a job wiring new and existing homes. He later worked on the construction of the Concordia Telephone Plant, and eventually got a new job with the telephone company. He married Lorene Boeschen, June 25, 1960. After getting a job with the Branson Telephone Company, he and his wife moved to Branson. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Lorene.

Survivors include his children Jerald Koch and wife Stacy, of Nixa, John Koch and wife Karen, of Forsyth, Sandra Albrecht and husband Donald, of Greenfield, Ind.; and five grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church debt payment fund.
