Car damages sandwich shop near Branson

BRANSON NEWS: A sandwich shop is going to be closed for some time after it was struck by a car Monday afternoon just outside Branson.

According to James Lannan, assistant chief with Western Taney County Fire Protection District, a car crashed into East Coast Subs restaurant at Missouri 248 and Flynn Road.

According to Lannan, the department was called at about 2:50 p.m. He said one of the shop’s owners reported minor injuries suffered when he tried to escape the collision, but no one else was hurt. The proprietor of the shop refused transport to a hospital, Lannan said.
