BRANSON MO NEWS: NEW ULM — New Ulm Area Catholic Schools (NUACS) invites the community to two events to celebrate Catholic Schools Week.Today from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at St. Anthony Elementary is Family Fun Night. Then Saturday, Feb. 4, starting at 3:30 p.m. at NUACS is Snowfest.
Family Fun Night is a way to celebrate with families and have some fun on a Wednesday night.
“It is just kind of a fun winter event to have something to do,” Assistant Development Director Tamara Klawitter said.
There will be carnival games that can be played with tickets that cost $0.50 a piece. There also will be Clare Fischer, a seventh-grade Cathedral student who operates a balloon artistry business.
A raffle offers the chance for families to win prize sets of coloring books, toys and more. Pizza and tacos in a bag will be served. The night will be DJ’d by The Other DJ Company.
While Family Fun Night is aimed at the whole family, Snowfest is primarily for adults. Bingo, a bake sale, silent, auction, six raffles, games and sheepshead will start at 3:30 p.m.
There is a dinner offered in the Holy Trinity cafeteria 5-8 p.m. The menu includes pulled pork sandwiches, …
