Dane Evans: The waiting begins, so goodbye, for now

BRANSON MO NEWS: EDITOR’S NOTE: Former Sanger standout and record-setting Tulsa quarterback Dane Evans is preparing for the NFL draft. Over the past several weeks, Evans has provided insight into his life as an NFL prospect chasing his dream of being drafted, despite being undersized and overlooked.Immediately after my pro day was over on March 10, my family, my agent, my girlfriend and myself all went to go grub out after a very successful day. Up until that point, I had been eating like a bird, as I like to put it, which just means that I have been eating very healthy — protein, fruit, nuts, veggies, etc. Needless to say, after pro day I did not eat like a bird. I took my crowd to The Brook, one of my favorite spots in Tulsa , and it was everything I had been wanting for so long. If anyone is from Tulsa or has been to The Brook, then you know how much food they give you no matter what you order, and I almost finished my entire meal — chicken fried steak at least twice the size of my face, fries and mashed potatoes.
