Gregory Moore turns 80

Gregory Moore recently celebrated his 80th birthday at the Moore family reunion on Sept. 2, 2018, and again with family and friends Sept. 29, 2018, at the Ground Round. Gregory was born Sept. 28, 1938, in Forest City, Missouri.He married Charla Moore on April 4, 1983. They have seven children, Mark Sidwell (Jennifer), of St. Joseph, Michael Sidwell (Chris), of Springfield, Missouri, Joyce Yocam (Quentin), of St. Joseph, Jeff Sidwell, of St. Joseph, John Sidwell, of St. Joseph, Amy Hamilton, of Tampa, Florida, and Debbie Sidwell (Blake), of St. Joseph; nine grandchildren, Kyle Sidwell, Morgan Roepke, Mallory Carter, Brittney Winder, Colton Sidwell, Brooke Winder, Maddison Sidwell, Mathew James Hamilton III and Lily Faith Yocam; and four great-grandchildren, Evelyn Roepke, Amelia Roepke, Lincoln Carter and Quinn Carter.Early years, Greg was in farming and then worked at St. Joseph Packaging, for 36 years, retiring in 2001.Greg stays busy working on rental properties, but in his free time he likes to go to Branson, Missouri, and also enjoys watching wrestling on TV.
