Group Rallies Support For Proposition D
BRANSON MO NEWS: There’s a campaign kickoff Monday at 5:30 p.m. at the Hilton Branson Convention Center for supporters of Proposition D.If approved by voters in November, Proposition D would raise the state’s gas tax by 10-cents a gallon by 2022.That would give Missouri more than $400-million dollars a year to improve roads and bridges, plus a secure funding source for the Highway Patrol.A spokesman for SaferMo.com says Missouri has the 49th lowest state motor fuels user tax.It ranks 46th in the nation in revenue per available mile.
