Jackson Burney Qualifies for Youth All American Game

  It is very hard to earn All State or equal honors in a sport, and Crocker youth baseball player Jackson Burney was selected to play in the Youth Baseball All American Game in Orlando Florida on December 27 through December 30th. He will play in the 10 and under team.    Burney earned this honor by competing in a Youth Baseball Missouri Qualifying Tournament in Branson from September 23rd and 24th. He was one of only around 300 selected from across the United States to play in the elite event.Burney has played competitive travel ball for past 3 years on teams out of Rolla & Crocker. During those 3 years he has won a USSSA Missouri State Championship, A GMB Machine Pitch World Series, and the USSSA Global World Series in Gulf Shores, Alabama. At the end of this season he was invited to play in The Baseball Youth Futures Tournament in Branson. A few weeks after the tournament, jackson received an email that said he was selected to play in The All American Games in Orlando, Fl.     About being invited to the game, Jackson Burney said he is ”very happy to have been chosen and excited to get to play baseball with and against kids from all over the country and from other countries.”
