LOCAL STUDENTS AT YOUNG PEOPLE’S CONCERT

 Fourth graders at Eagle Heights Elementary were recently invited to a Young People’s Concert presented by the Springfield Symphony Orchestra at the Hughes Theater in Branson, Missouri. Fourth grade students from southern Missouri and northern Arkansas were treated to a variety of music including Beethoven’s “Fifth Symphony,” “In the Hall of the Mountain King,” by Grieg and “March of the Resistance,” (from Star Wars) by John Williams. Pictured with the Eagle Heights students outside the Hughes Theater are Missy Taylor, right, fourth grade teacher and Linda Pledger, principal. Leisa Dodson is the music teacher at Eagle Heights Elementary.
