BRANSON, Mo. – The State of Missouri welcomes 41.7 Million visitors to the state in fiscal year 2016, setting a new tourism record in the process.
Missouri Governor Jay Nixon traveled to Silver Dollar City in Branson this morning (Thursday), to announce the results of the Missouri Fiscal Year 2016 annual impact report. Nixon shares the state saw a 3.2% increase in visitors this year, breaking the previous tourism record of 40.4 Million, set in 2015:
