Missouri Lottery’s Summer promotion starts Monday

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. — Have you dreamed of taking an African safari in the Serengeti, roaming the outback in Australia or spending time outdoors at a ranch in Wyoming? Or how about staying closer to home and exploring Branson, Memphis, Louisville or Chicago?
All of these destinations will be offered in the Missouri Lottery’s “Second Chance of a Lifetime: Summer Thrills” promotion, which starts May 14. You could win a trip to a far-away land, an adventure closer to home or cash by entering Lottery tickets at MOLottery.com.
Three winners, one on each drawing date, will be awarded with the player’s choice from three worldwide exploration trips. Two additional players on each drawing date will win their choice of four Midwest exploration trips, and 10 winners in each drawing will receive $1,000 cash.
The promotion consists of three different drawings on three drawing dates: June 21, July 26 and August 23.
“All prizes are taxes paid, so players won’t have to worry about additional expenses,” Reardon said.
Players will receive one entry for each $10 worth of any eligible Scratchers tickets or Draw Games tickets entered into their My Lottery® Players Club account. They will get to choose which of the three drawings they would like to enter.
In addition to the three drawings dates, the Lottery will also hold weekly merchandise drawings on Tuesdays, starting May 22 and running through August 21. Fifty winners will be drawn each Tuesday for 14 weeks to win an outdoor-themed merchandise item of their choice, such as patio heaters, gas and charcoal grills, smokers, bikes, tents, coolers and more.
