BRANSON MO NEWS: Bay-Rama: It’s the 54th year of this wonderful festival, and Our Town is thrilled to greet you from near and far. Enjoy all that is offered during the event, including making new friends, as well as games, rides and booths. There is excitement every day, so keep up on the schedule. Go to bay-rama.com. We are open year-round!Bay-Rama highlights: June 21: Fireworks at dusk with viewing from Walter and Mary Burke Park; June 22: Princess and Pirate Pizza Party at New Baltimore Civic Club for ages 12 and younger from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with costumes required and tickets at $15 per child; June 23: Kids Day with contests from noon to 2 p.m. Cardboard Boat Regatta registration at 2:30 p.m. in Walter and Mary Burke Park, with boat building beginning at 3 p.m. and racing from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.; June 24: Fabulous Fishfly Parade beginning at 1 p.m. from the end of Alfred Street at Green Street (near Dairy Queen) to County Line Road. After the parade, the Scottville Clown Band from Scottville will perform in the festival tent around 3 p.m.Relax at VFW steak-out June 22: Post 7573, 35011 23 Mile Road, is hosting the affair, and Our Town is invited. Grilling hours are 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. with guests selecting a juicy New York Strip steak. Cook it to your liking over an outdoor fire, add a baked potato, baked beans, salad and beverage and dine in an air-conditioned room with friends. The cost is $13 a person.
