BRANSON MO NEWS: Funeral services for Raymond H. Albert, 92, of Walnut Shade, were held Nov. 24, 2017, at Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home and Crematory in Branson. Rev. Bill Comer officiated. Burial followed at Ozarks Memorial Park Cemetery in Branson.

He died Nov. 19, 2017.

Raymond Howard Albert was born June 30, 1925, in Romance, Ark., son of Theodore Albert and Opal Snider Albert. He served in the United States Army during World War II. After his military service, He went to work in civil service at the Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego, Calif. He later moved to Missouri and had a farm. He married his wife Ann, Nov. 13, 1994, in Gallatin, Mo. They resided in Walnut Shade. He attended Community Church in Powersite.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Betty Albert; and sons Raymond Albert, Jr., and Jimmy Albert; his second wife Flora Albert; brother Alonzo Albert; and sisters Maedene Butler, Luell Boyd and Margarett Towery.

Survivors include his wife Ann Albert; his son Fred Albert, of Merriam Woods; sisters Helen Hogan, of Denison, Texas, Shelby Martinez, of Harrison, Ark., and Lee Ellen Benningfield, of Kingsburg, Calif.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
