Greenfield – First Congrgational Church, 43 Silver St. will host “Voices of Dissent: Music of Activism,” on Saturday, Sept. 2, 10:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., doors open at 9:45 a.m. Hosted by Racial Justice Rising-Mass Slavery Apology. Featuring Marcia Gomes, Arjuna Greist, Adam Matlock, Gloria De,Lane Matlock and Licia Sky. The program is free, donations welcome. For childcare, RSVP with number and ages of children. Holyoke – First Baptist Church, 1976 Northampton St. will host their annual “Community Day,” on Saturday, Sept 2 from noon to 4 p.m. There will be a bounce house, petting zoo, crafts and games, hot dogs, popcorn, lemonade and iced tea. Everything is free.
St. Mark Armenian Fest 2017
Springfield – St. Mark Armenian Church, 2427 Wilbraham Road will hold thier annual St. Mark Armenian Fest on Sunday, Sept. 3 from noon to 6 p.m. Come enjoy Armenian food fresh off the grill, baked goods to buy and take home, live Armenian music. There will also be a raffle. Admission and parking are free. Held rain or shine (indoors if it’s a rain day).
