BRANSON MO NEWS: Branson will play host to the Resurrection Fighting Alliance swan song.The RFA, long known for providing a pipeline of fighters into the UFC, will merge with Legacy FC to become the Legacy Fighting Alliance in 2017.JT Tilley, longtime promoter and coach in Branson, MO helped package a 14-fight pro-am card that will be held at the Branson Convention Center and will air live on AXS-TV Friday night.Much like the RFA’s September stop in St. Louis, RFA 46 features fighters from around the country paired against some of the area’s top pro’s. The regions of Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas, and others who have ties to Tilley’s Branson Fight Club or who have appeared on his Shofight cards make up the playbill.While other promotions have come and gone in Branson over the last 13 years, Tilley has stuck with it. He has staked claim to the town just north of 10,000 residents but is known nationally has an entertainment and tourism destination. Tilley ran two amateur promotions as well as the successful ShoFights series, all held in the area.The main event of RFA 46 will have Jordan Johnson (5-0) vs. LeMarcus Tucker (5-1) for the vacant RFA light-heavyweight championship.
