Roadway remains closed after semi over-turns on Morgantown Rd.

BRANSON MO NEWS: BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) — On Monday, March 12th, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a crash on the 6000 and 7000 blocks of Morgantown Road in Warren County.
Deputies say a Valelog Trucking Company semi that was hauling detergent was traveling northbound and dropped off the roadway.
Officials say the driver, 40-year-old Jermoy Howard ofBranson, Missouri was unable to regain control of the semi, causing it to fall over on its side and skid.
Neighbors tell 13 News they saw the driver lose control of the semi and try to get it back up on the road before it eventually fell on its side.
The load of detergent was scattered in the roadway.
Deputies say Howard had a passenger, 39-year-old Lisa Foster of Eminence, Missouri. According to reports, both Howard and Foster were transported for non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway has been shut down as crews evaluate the scene and clean up. Officials say the roadway should reopen on Monday around 2:00 p.m. The closure began before 10: 00 a.m.
A detour around the collision runs from Hammett Hill Road to Price’s Chapel Road, and then onto Morgantown Road.

The crash is still under investigation.
