Singing group the Lennon Sisters to play Cheyenne Oct. 7

BRANSON MO NEWS: The Lennon Sisters never considered themselves to be TV or music starlets. They were just “the Lennon kids from down the block.”Now, after 60 years of appearing on various shows and performing their favorite cover songs live, the sisters have decided to wrap up touring to focus on other projects. It’s bittersweet, but they’ve loved every second of their career, Kathy Lennon said.The three sisters, Mimi, Janet and Kathy are on their final tour, making their way around the country. They will stop in Cheyenne on Oct. 7 and this will be the first time the sisters have performed in town since they were children, Kathy noted.While they are sad to wrap up touring, she said the reality of it ending hasn’t fully hit the siblings.“We still have quite a few things coming up, so I feel like once spring rolls around, it might hit us harder,” she said. “We’ve done this since we were children.
