Springfield Man Sentenced for Branson Hotel/Vehicle Robbery

FORSYTH, Mo. – A man from Springfield is sentenced to 25 years in prison for a vehicle robbery and an armed robbery of a Branson hotel.
Taney County Prosecuting Attorney Jeff Merrell says 48-year-old Kimberling Cook was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action. Judge Laura Johnson has previously accepted Cook’s guilty plea on March 1st, 2017.
Cook was sentenced on June 16th, to 25 years in the Missouri Department of Correction on each of the four felonies, with the sentences to run concurrently with one another, …
