The Applause Music Series in Sweetwater will offer its take on Western heritage with a concert and art show Nov. 5 at the Sweetwater Municipal Auditorium.
The concert, which begins at 7:30 p.m., will feature Southwestern Pilgrimage and Friends — a group of musicians from Dallas; Reno, Nevada; and Branson, Missouri — featuring Rick Sparks and Randy Brooks.
A free Rodeo and Cowboy Art Show, displaying the works of photographers Liz Mason and David Sinclair, will open at 6 p.m. on the south side of the auditorium, 102 E. Fourth St. The art show will close during the concert. It then will be the site of a reception after the concert.
Tickets for the concert cost $10 for adults and $5 for students and may be purchased at the door.
