BRANSON MO NEWS: Dontale MayesOne of the top heavyweight prospects in mixed martial arts is headed to an organization known for propelling fighters into the UFC, as Don’Tale Mayes (2-0) has signed with the Resurrection Fighting Alliance and will debut at RFA 46 on Dec. 9. “King Kong” is set to take on Kenny Fredenburg (7-4) in Branson, Missouri.Mayes’ management company Mata Leon made the announcement via Twitter on Sunday.Contracts are in ? He stopped Harry Hunsucker in his debut, needing just over two minutes to earn the stoppage via strikes. In his sophomore pro outing, he claimed the Hoosier Fight Club heavyweight title by stopping Arnold Adams in the fifth round at HFC 29 in June.Mayes lives in Louisvlle, Kentucky and trains at Bronx Hill MMA.
