Val Kilmer postpones Branson visit to promote his Mark Twain movie

A new date is to be announced soon, a publicist said.(Photo: Lewis Jacobs, Still Photographer, 2011)Correction: This article has been updated to reflect additional comments from a publicist about the postponed show date for Val Kilmer.Val Kilmer’s Saturday appearance in Branson has been postponed, a publicist confirmed Tuesday.Rhonda Zippro, who is working with the Hollywood actor to promote a Branson showing of a Mark Twain-related film that Kilmer made, confirmed Tuesday that Kilmer is rescheduling his appearance.She said the new date would be announced soon.Zippro took issue with earlier published reports that Kilmer is busy filming “Top Gun 2” this weekend. “It is a scheduling conflict with Dream Castle Media, LLC, that’s all,” she said in an email to the News-Leader late Tuesday.
