The allure of Silver Dollar City, a theme park near Branson, Missouri, caused us to park the 2018 GMC Sierra 2500HD Denali for a few hours while we explored. We planned on spending half a day at the park and then hitting the road again, but as luck would have it, fun called and beckoned we stay and play for the day. The GMC waited patiently for our return and delivered us to Steak ‘n Shake for dinner. (The same co-pilot that hadn’t been to the Waffle House also hadn’t been there.) After a fuel stop—only the second of the trip—we made the hour or so drive to Springfield for the night.
