BRANSON MO NEWS: With the start of spring practice Tuesday morning, Missouri released its first official depth chart for the 2018 season. Although the initial roster does not include a number of incoming freshmen and graduate transfers who will join the Tigers for fall camp, it provides the first glance at what Missouri might look like come September.Here’s the initial depth chart for #Mizzou football 2018. Barring injury, Missouri will see no changes at the starting quarterback, running back or linebacker positions, and the offensive line remains the same, as well.

Dooley talks new offense, takes ‘Wikipedia’ approachFirst-year offensive coordinator Derek Dooley got an initial look at his offense Tuesday on a cold and windy Faurot Field. The conditions were less than ideal.“This is my first experience with winter practice; this wasn’t spring practice,” Dooley said. “Felt like we were preparing for the Chicago Bears today with wind coming off of Lake Michigan.”Afterward, the former Tennessee head coach said it was too soon to tell what the Tigers’ offense would be but he was pleased with how the unit’s first run looked.“You certainly don’t want to overreact either way on one practice; we haven’t even put pads on yet,” Dooley said. “Things always change a lot when we get on pads, so you just really have to stay focused on analyzing the film, learning what we can learn from it mentally, and look at the physical errors and how we can improve those.
