BRANSON MO NEWS: Spring or winter?: Our seesaw weather is amazing and fascinating to Our Town. When the sun shines, it looks like a lovely day for a walk. Step out the door and a winter coat is a necessity. Snow comes without warning, or it’s cloudy and rain pours down. Luckily, the lake and rivers are clear this year and flower bulbs are up. Here in the north, every conversation includes comments about the weather with “spring/winter” emotions. However, we love it and wouldn’t live anywhere else. Why? Our weather is a surprise every day and something to smile or grumble about. Be grateful and take it all in. You will find out at the New Baltimore Historical Society’s meeting. When the sidewalks were replaced in the 1990s, Mr. Lindstrom took a metal detector and found innumerable fascinating objects that he is going to share.
