BRANSON MO NEWS: Celebration of Life Services for Philip Snead Winn, 91, of Branson, were held May 11, 2018, at the Church of Christ in Kimberling City. Mike Braswell officiated. Burial with military honors will be held at a later date at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield. Arrangements were under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson.He died May 8, 2018.
Phil was born in 1926, in Gore, Okla., son of Levin and Violet Gilliand Winn. He was a resident of the Branson area for the past 23 years. He was a retired Tupperware Executive and a U.S. Army veteran serving during WW II. He was also a member of the Church of Christ in Kimberling City.He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Evelyn Winn; brother, Jim Winn; sisters, Francis Louis Winn and Dorothy Jean DaVee and one step-daughter, Angela Bobo.
Survivors include his wife, Leigh Winn; children, Cherie Eckelkamp, of St. Louis, Rand Winn, of Prescott, Ariz. and Lisa Spiller, of Va.; step-children, Rhonda Stieg, of St. Peters and Kimberly Cook, of Branson; sister, Nan Isenberg, of Kimberling City; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ in Kimberling City.
