BRANSON MO NEWS:
Tony Orlando, the pop star famous for the 1973 hit “Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree,” had to tie a bloody bandage around his severed finger after a gruesome mishap.
The 73-year-old singer known for performing with the band Dawn recently sliced off the top of his middle finger — from the tip to just below the nail bed — in an accident involving his Branson, Missouri, garage door, TMZ reports. Orlando reportedly kept his cool, collected the severed fingertip and drove himself to the hospital.
