For months our twins have been begging to go ziplining every time they see the zipline cable towers. So this last week, we finally consented! Kids must be at least three-years-old to ride the ziplines at Adventure Ziplines of Branson, so this was the zipline for us! It is also located in town, which is extremely convenient. We scheduled our zipline tour a few days in advance. They are very busy and each tour lasts about two hours. When we arrived, we were introduced to our two tour guides, Austin and Dennis. They took us to get all of our equipment on. Here they told us that this zipline course is the only one in the area with dual-construction cables. This means that if one cable were to break (which they assured was extremely unlikely) we would still be attached to another calbe. After we were all set with our equipment, Austin and Dennis drove us to the first zipline course in an ATV. That was a bumpy, yet exciting, drive! Once we were all set up and taught how to sit and control our movement on the zipline cables, we took our turns getting hooked up to the cables and off we went! Xander rode with me; both Xander and I had separate attachments to the cables, but he was also connected to me with a strap, keeping us together. Cassie got to ride with Daddy. We were apprehensive as to how the kids would do with the height of the ziplines and the new experience, but we have two very brave little ones! They wanted to go faster (even though we were already going very fast) and do it all on their own! They had so much fun traversing the wooden rope bridges between a few of the towers. We also had quite a view of the town from our high point up on the zipline towers. Our guides were so much fun and were great with our kids and the rest of our party. We had a great time and recommend this zipline course to all!!
