BRANSON NEWS: Many Branson businesses are hiring ahead of the 2018 tourism season.

About 30 employers were looking for qualified workers during the Missouri Job Center’s job fair Thursday in Branson.
Job seekers learned about careers in industries from entertainment to healthcare to lodging. Many people even applied for jobs on-the-spot.
Employers say it is the time of the year when Branson businesses are looking to fill a variety of positions and many will be hiring until the start of summer.
“this is really crunch time because within the next two weeks we will hit spring break and Branson will be flooded with a lot of new tourist guests then we will hit a little bit of a lull and we get reloaded for the summer employment season and we try to hire more people in the summer too,” Russ Rosencrans, with Branson Zipline at Wolfe Mountain, said.
