BRANSON NEWS:

We have turned the calendar to September as our beautiful fall weather starts to set in.

We have a busy schedule and want to share with you our plans. These plans are open to the public of any age, so we hope you can come and hop aboard one of our deluxe motor coach tours.

•Nov. 16-20 — Branson, Missouri: As is often asked: Is it all about country?

Actually Branson offers a variety of over 100 shows in any given week, and of many varieties.

Our schedule builds on a new variety each year. We are delighted to once again include the newest biblical production at the Sight and Sound Theater, “Moses,” is now on the schedule for this season.

This is an awesome production. This theater is set to send you back in time with live animals. You will experience a show like no other in Branson.

“The Million Dollar Quartet,” which is rocking the billboards, is also on our schedule. Inspired by the true story of when Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins, came together for the greatest jam session of all times.

Danny O’Donnell plays one of his last set of shows in Branson before an extended leave. O’Donnell has truly been a favorite of so many in the past years.

The family variety show of the Duttons with a nine-piece orchestra. There are five shows in all and we can make arrangements to substitute a particular show.

We also extended this trip with an overnight stop in St. Joe, Missouri. This allows us to slow the busy pace of travel, and in an overnight stay we learn about the happenings in St. Joe with a step-on guide.

A late Sunday afternoon return time will be anticipated.

All Branson trips include several meals, some special tours and frequent rest stops along the way. It still continues to be the Mecca of fine entertainment in our Midwest area.

The deposits are due by Sept. 15, we will confirm our reservations for this tour. We do have space available with costs and plans available at our Mower County Senior Center or by calling our travel number. 507-438-3946 or 507-433- 9391.

•Oct. 4-12 — National Balloon Trip to Albuquerque: Plans are set but we do have openings available. Fall just sounds like a beautiful time to experience this entire trip.

Schedule available.
