Branson Police Department Now Offers Online Reporting

BRANSON, Mo – The Branson Police Department has established a new on-line reporting system, available immediately, that now allows citizens to report certain incidents conveniently on-line.

In-progress incidents, incidents with suspects on-scene, and offenses involving injury to any person should be reported immediately to 911. Citizens are still encouraged to DIAL 911 anytime they need a police officer, the Fire Department, or EMS to any incident.

The Branson Police on-line reporting is only available for past incidents where the suspects is no longer at the scene, no injuries, and no collectible evidence at the offense location.

On-line reporting may include:

·         Civil Matters

·         Forgery / Fraud / Identity Theft

·         Fraudulent Use of Credit/Debit Device

·         Harassment

·         Juvenile Problems – (non-violent, past incidents)

·         Lost Property reports

·         Past Disturbance

·         Theft / Stealing / Vehicle Break-ins

·         Vandalism/Graffiti

·         Minor vehicle crash with no injury

Citizens needing to report an on-line incident should go to the City of Branson Police website, at http://www.bransonmo.gov/216/Police click “Report a Crime or Accident” and fill out the details of the incident. Officers will receive the submission and follow up with a phone call to the reporting party for any additional details needed.
