BRANSON NEWS: On any given morning at the Rose House, 99-year-old resident Alice Hannah, who turns 100 Monday, can be found sitting quietly and quilting.
“It is something for me to be able to do something creative, and then have something pretty to look at when I’m done,” Hannah said. “Plus, it gave me something to look forward to doing.”
Since beginning her “career” as a quilter 40 years ago, she’s finished somewhere between 60 and 80 quilts.
