BRANSON NEWS: Elaine Thompson/Associated PressCole Hamels and his wife, Heidi, announced they will donate their $9.75 million mansion in Branson, Missouri, to Camp Barnabas, an organization that “helps individuals with special needs and chronic illnesses,” according to Hannah Everman of NBCDFW.com. “Seeing the faces, hearing the laughter, reading the stories of the kids they serve; there is truly nothing like it,” Hamels said. “Barnabas makes dreams come true, and we felt called to help them in a big way.”According to Everman, the Hamels began building the 32,000-square-foot mansion in 2012 and put it up for sale in August before deciding to donate it to Barnabas.
