Donegal dance show a hit at the House of Commons

BRANSON MO NEWS: One talented Donegal Irish dancer got to perform at the Houses of Commons in London as part of a dynamic new musical production.
Drumkeen man Raymond Sweeney, 34, is the creative director, producer and lead dancer of “Titanicdance”, a hugely successful Irish dance musical extravaganza that has impressed audiences in China, the USA and most recently in the House of Commons in the UK.
Donegal’s Raymond along with his talented cast members and musicians performed their skillful Titanicdance at the House of Commons on September 7 following their very successful performance at China’s International Folk Arts Festival in August.
First
Remarkably Titanicdance are the first Irish dance and music performance to take place in the House of Commons for over 1,000 years.
The occasion was to mark the 25th anniversary of SAM, the UK’s leading manufacturer of internal and external MDF mouldings.
Busy times
Now, busy times lie ahead for Raymond and the Titanicdance team as they prepare for a month long tour to Branson, Missouri in the USA.
