Fun With the Whole Family: Mini Golf, Track 4, and Andy’s

This weekend we took the kids to Greatest Adventures Miniature Golf!  This was the twins’ very first putt putt experience.  They had a blast and won the game (with the highest score!).  We wandered from green to green putting, hitting, and throwing our golf balls towards the cup. It was a learning experience we will continue to build on with the twins  We found many great photo opportunities on this course.  There are two medieval and jungle themed courses including a castle, a waterfall, a cave, and you can’t miss the giant dragon looming overhead! .  After we played an abbreviated round of golf, as my kids are still too young to appreciate a full 18 holes of mini golf, we returned to the main building.  At the Greatest Adventures Golf there is a fabulous American grill restaurant.  We sat down to eat outside next to the course (it was such a beautiful weekend!). We started with an order of Dragon Balls, melted cheese and sliced jalapeno wrapped in bacon.  Yes, that’s right, wrapped in bacon!   They were a hit with our family.   They have a great menu and we have had nothing but good experiences with their food and service.

After putt putt and lunch we headed over to the Tracks Family Fun Parks.  Our adventure took us to Track 4.  My twins were super excited to see all of the attractions, especially the Heavy Metal High Rise.  But we started small with the kids.  Last year they were not tall enough to go on any of the rides or on the go-carts (kids must be 36” tall to ride as a passenger).  This year we started small; they went on the small ferris wheel (my daughter kept saying “Faster!”).  Then we went on the smaller cement track (first time on go-carts, remember!?  Next time we will try the Heavy Metal High Rise!).  I rode with my daughter and again she kept asking to go faster.  Both of our kids had an absolute blast!

We finished our day with a visit to Andy’s Frozen Custard, right next to Track 4.  There is nothing quite like seeing happy little faces covered in ice cream.  It was a good end to a wonderful day in Branson, MO.
