BRANSON MISSOURI NEWS: Hot rods, motorcycles and trucks of yesteryear will be on full display for Denton’s 17th annual Arts & Autos Extravaganza this Saturday. The free festival takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. all around the Courthouse on the Square.Attendees will be able to peruse more than 200 vehicles parked around the Square for the annual car show. A varied collection of classic American cars, trucks and motorcycles are expected to be part of the event. Arts & Autos is expected to draw a “little bit of everything,” said Craig Thomas, co-chairman for the event. “We aren’t as strict on the guidelines, and categories tend to be a bit broader,” he said in reference to other car shows. “We might have all of the ’40s and ’50s cars together, or split the Corvettes into pre-’70s and post-’70s groups.” Thomas is also responsible for the awards for the Best in Show categories, which in past years have been made from repurposed car parts.
