“What a fabulous experience to meet such a group of talented, beautiful, and intelligent women from all over the country,” said Nunn.
“It was a busy and hectic but fun week, and filled with memories to last a lifetime. It was such an honor to represent the Commonwealth of Virginia and to compete on the national level, she said. “One of the most exciting things of the week was when flowers were delivered to me from my high school graduation class of 1961!”
The winner, Peggy Lee Brennan, Ms Missouri Senior America 2016, is 61 years old and is from Branson, Mo., where she is a professional entertainer singing and dancing. She was Radar’s girlfriend on MASH. 
Many professional singers, dancers and entertainers competed in the pageant. Nunn performed a monologue from Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar.” She was interviewed by Harper’s Bazaar, Good Housekeeping and the New York Times, all of whom covered the pageant through photographs, videos and print.
