BRANSON MO NEWS: Police reports:Missouri man raises ruckusPolice say a man from Forsyth, Missouri, who was causing a disturbance at Perkins Restaurant refused a ride from officers and a cab Sunday night and ended up in jail.
Police were called to the restaurant around 7 p.m. and walked William Leo Kindler, 69, outside, where he had luggage. When he refused a ride somewhere from officers, they called a cab, but Kindler began yelling and cursing.When he wouldn’t leave, police arrested him for misdemeanor “failure to disperse” and took him to jail. Bond was set a $370 and he was still listed in custody early Monday morning.Forsyth is a small town near Branson, a popular country music and entertainment venue in southwest Missouri.Assault arrestA Butte man was arrested early Sunday afternoon for allegedly hitting and kicking a woman.
Police say they were called about a disturbance at a residence in the 300 block of Washington Street but Patrick Ryan Peterson, 34, had left.A woman told officers he had hit her in the face, causing one eye to swell, and kicked her in the leg. Police found Peterson walking on South Montana Street and booked him for misdemeanor partner/family member assault.
He also had a marijuana pipe so faced a misdemeanor complaint of possessing drug paraphernalia. Bond had not been set as of early Monday morning.Booked on warrantsPolice were called to a spot behind Montana Tech on Saturday on a report that someone was throwing items from a van and ended up arresting a man and woman from Butte on outstanding warrants.When officers arrived, Kenneth Alex Peterson, 37, and Danielle Marie Peterson, 29, said they were simply organizing their van.But police ran their names and said the man was wanted on a $4,000 warrant out of Butte City Court and the woman …
