Release: Highway Commission to Meet Wednesday in Rolla

BRANSON MO NEWS: ROLLA – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission will hold its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2 at Rolla City Hall, 901 North Elm St. The public is invited to attend.
Rolla City Administrator John D. Butz and Vice Chancellor of the Missouri University of Science and Technology Walt Branson are scheduled to give presentations. David Silvester, district engineer for the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Central District, will provide an overview of central Missouri projects and activities.
The commission, a six-member board that governs the Missouri Department of Transportation, meets in Jefferson City the first five months of each year while the legislature is in session. Commission meetings are held throughout the state the other seven months.
