)Many more activities are scheduled throughout the weekend including the annual chicken BBQ on Sunday, which will feature the famous Flier cookie. An art show will be held on the front lawn of the Clyde Museum from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the front lawn of the Clyde Museum on Sunday afternoon. Artists are Fran Jackson, fused glass; Carol Hoffman, artist; Sharon Kinnear, pottery, and Dawn Tea-Frey, photographer. The classic car show will also be held that day, with many cars parked in the vicinity of the museum where last year many stopped in the museum for a visit.The 141st birthday of Sherwood Anderson was observed Tuesday night, at a special program at the museum by Jim Smith of the Lorain County Historical Society, sponsored by the Clyde Heritage League. It was followed by the unveiling of a book about his brother, “Karl Anderson: An Artist and His World,” written by Dorothy Cox, Clyde historian who did a book signing that evening. The book costs $35 and is 335 pages in length. It covers Karl’s early life, his time at art school, his travels in Europe, and his complete career and calling as a lifetime artist.Another book about Clyde will be introduced from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at the Clyde Museum.
