BRANSON, Mo. — Officers with the Branson Police Department responded to a home near the intersection of State Highways 76 and 65 after receiving reports of a robbery.The family reported two men forced entry into the home and got away with some personal possessions including jewelry, according to the press release from the City of Branson.Three suspects have been arrested and charged in connection with the crime. Mark Anthony Lamb, 28, and Anthony William Saucedo, 30, were both charged with armed criminal action, robbery, burglary and stealing. Both received no bond.Christina Armstrong, 40, was also arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $25,000. The press release was updated at 10:33 p.m. to say, “according to Asst. Chief Schmitt, the female was with one of the male suspects when he was being arrested. She was only charged with possession of a controlled substance.”The quick arrest is attributed to the “tenacity and teamwork” of the police officers involved, according to the press release.All suspects are being held in Taney County Jail.The Branson police said in the release they are “thankful for the assistance of area businesses and residents that provide information and resources for the investigation that led to the quick arrest of the two suspects.”The police department also reminded residents to “use perimeter lighting around their home, to keep cars locked, and to report suspicious persons in their neighborhood by calling 911.”
