2 fatalities confirmed in small aircraft crash near Reeds Spring

KOLR10Breaking news(Photo: KOLR10)BRANSON WEST — KOLR 10 has confirmed that two people have died in a small aircraft crash near Reeds Spring, Missouri.The crash occurred in a pasture at 1974 Yocum Pond Rd., about one mile from the Branson West airport.The two deceased were the only two in the single-engine aircraft, according to the Stone County Sheriff. The identities are not being released until next of kin can be notified.The Southern Stone County Fire Protection District and the Stone County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the scene.Information about where the aircraft was traveling from or to has not been released.The Southern Stone County Fire Protection District said in a Facebook post that Stone County dispatch was reporting multiple calls of an aircraft down at about 6:39 p.m.No other information has been released.
