BRANSON AIRPORT SEES RECORD NUMBER OF PRIVATE AIRCRAFT

BRANSON, MO – The Branson Airport JetCenter welcomed a record number of private aircraft passengers early this week as a result of the highly anticipated PGA TOUR Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf Tournament at Big Cedar Lodge, April 17-22. Tournament play at Buffalo Ridge begins Thursday, April 19, while Top of the Rock (the only tournament on the PGA TOUR Champions using a par three course) and Mountain Top begin on Friday, April 20. Final rounds will be played Sunday at Top of the Rock. Quickly becoming a national golf destination, Big Cedar Lodge has four courses designed by such legendary names as: Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Arnold Palmer, Gary Player, Bill Coore, Ben Crenshaw and Tiger Woods.

Golf enthusiasts from around the country can now easily access Big Cedar Lodge’s courses with the recent Branson Airport announcement of service on Frontier Airlines to Denver and beyond (starting June 13), as well as Silver Airways (starting August 30) to Chicago, Houston and New Orleans. Silver Airways has ticketing and baggage agreements with United Airlines, JetBlue and Alaska Airlines which will provide connections to Branson from over 100 additional cities.
