Mother’s Day fun in Ozark Mountain CountryMother’s Day weekend is finally here, and in Ozark Mountain County, that means there are plenty of perfect for the whole family. The whole Mother’s Day celebration gets going Saturday night at the Hughes Brothers Theatre as the family performs their “Pre-Mother’s Day” show. The Hughes family, stars of “The Hughes Music Show” at the Hughes Brothers Theatre, always host special shows and events for every major holiday, and this year’s show begins Saturday at 6:30 p.m. with a special Mother’s Day meal served upstairs at the theater. All mom’s get their meal for half price. Once dinner is done, the show will kick off, and every mom who is accompanied by a family member with paid admission will get in to the show for free. Not only will mom get to see the fantastic new show for free, but they’ll also get a free gift. I’ve always been a fan of this family, and I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews about the new show, which I hope to see very soon.Sunday morning will find many area restaurants featuring special Mother’s Day dining options, including Mother’s Day Brunches at the Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks, the Chateau on the Lake, Big Cedar Lodge, Top of the Rock, and Branson’s Center Stage Grille & Bar.
