Branson man killed in New Year’s crash

BRANSON MO NEWS: TANEY COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) A man from Branson was killed in a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Kenneth J. Claypool, 48, died after his car and another vehicle collided on Hwy. 76, two-and-a-half miles east of Kirbyville.
Claypool died at the scene. A woman in the other vehicle was taken to a Springfield hospital with moderate injuries.
This is the first deadly crash of the year for Troop D.
