Florida cornerback picks Mizzou
BRANSON MO NEWS: For the second time in three days the Missouri football team picked up a commitment from the state of Florida. Defensive back Chris Shearin, a three-star prospect from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., announced his pledge on Twitter.
Rated the nation’s No. 163rd cornerback by 247Sports.com, Shearin also holds offers from Power 5 schools Duke, Maryland, North Carolina State, Rutgers, Syracuse, Virginia and West Virginia, according to his online recruiting profiles. Shearin is originally from Suffolk, Va., but transferred to the Florida powerhouse academy for his senior season.
