The El Dorado/Union County Minister Fellowship Alliance: Will meet at 6 p.m. Sept. 16 at St. James Baptist Church, 608 Dr. MLK Blvd.
Evergreen Ministries Int’l: Will celebrate their 125th Church Anniversary at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1510 S. Jackson, El Dorado. Marilyn Frazier is pastor. Guest church will be Pastor Orlanda Smith and Countyline Baptist Church. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
Church of Love: The Daughters of Destiny Outreach Ministry will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the church, 803 E. Main St., El Dorado. This is a non-denominational ministry and all women are invited to attend. The facilitator is Jennifer Hamilton.
The Greater El Dorado District: 12th Annual Love Fest Banquet honoring Supt. Kelly Owens will be held at 5 p.m. today at the St. James Village Outreach Facility, 1104 E. Hillsboro, El Dorado. Speaker will be Elder Rodney Henderson, pastor of Holy Temple in Monticello. A night of honor, fellowship, food and recording artist Pastor Justin Shaw and Sharicia Wright. Tickets are $25/couple, $15/single, $10/ages 12 and under.
Ebenezer Baptist Church: The Dorrell Family form Tullahoma, Tennessee will perform at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, 1942 N. Wyatt Drive, El Dorado. They are Christian entertainers that include juggling and illusions in their presentation. They have performed in 11 different countries, the White House, the Olympics and in Branson, Missouri. All are welcome to attend.
Hosanna Baptist Church: Will observe it’s 54th Church Anniversary at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 16, at the church. Special guests will be Pastor Odell Carr and New Saint Mary Baptist Church. Lunch will be served.
